However, your marriage certificate was registered in Taiwan and for any certificate which was produced by that particular country need to get attested by the Malaysian Embassy of the country. In your case, it must be attested by Malaysian Embassy in Taiwan and not China.

Nevertheless, your wife certificate (birth certificate) need to be attested by the Malaysian Embassy in China.
